Notes

Mike's score for The Killing Fields was recorded between June and December 1983.

The closing track, Etude, is based on a guitar piece by Francisco Tarrega which is known by several different names. The track emerged from a session with Morris Pert, who was banging buckets and other makeshift percussion instruments. Once the track was completed, Mike thought it sounded slightly Cambodian, and so decided to use it in this film.
